Job summary

HF Sinclair is seeking an Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect in Dallas to define and govern architecture standards across IT and OT. You will drive secure design practices, lead architecture reviews, and align security decisions with business risk priorities.

The role demands 8+ years in IT/security domains, with at least 4 years in architecture governance and proven ability to guide cross-functional teams. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud security, security engineering, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, OT security, or related tech domains.
• Minimum of 4 years in an architecture function with standards, reference architectures, design patterns or governance.
• Experience translating business, risk, regulatory, and technical requirements into practical security architecture guidance.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and govern cybersecurity architecture principles, standards, guardrails, patterns, and reference architectures.
• Lead security architecture reviews for major technology initiatives and cloud solutions; document tradeoffs and risk implications.
• Map technology risks to capabilities and advise on policy exceptions, control gaps, and third-party dependencies.
• Guide IT/OT convergence, cloud security, data platforms, APIs, and automation in secure-by-design solutions.
• Influence stakeholders and continuously improve architecture governance and measurable security outcomes.
