Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect & Systems Engineer in the Applied Technology department to design, deploy, and sustain security solutions aligned with NIST SP 800-171/53 CMMC requirements. You will act as the primary security resource and drive risk management in a regulated government environment.

You will architect enterprise-grade security, oversee EDR, DLP, MFA, and encryption implementations, and lead incident response, vulnerability management, and policy

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in information security engineering and enterprise-level design (as per job posting).
• Expert knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and Architect enterprise-grade security reference architectures and oversee lifecycle implementations of key solutions (EDR, DLP, MFA, data-at-rest encryption).
• Develop, optimize & maintain SIEM platforms to enhance log collection, analysis, and threat detection capabilities.
• Lead NIST and CMMC compliance efforts, audits, and technical controls.
• Work with IT Security Policy engineer to verify controls meet policy.
• Act as Incident Response Lead for triage, containment, root-cause analysis, and recovery.
