Job summary
KBR, Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to lead DoW IT cybersecurity reviews, RMF implementation, and cloud security initiatives. The role requires TS SCI and US citizenship, with on-site work at the Pentagon- area site and collaboration with government leadership.
You will produce executive-level briefings, assess risks, and help shape cybersecurity strategy across DoD programs, including CDS initiatives and cross-domain governance.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in DoW staff positions or cybersecurity environments.
- Experience crafting DoW level cybersecurity policies and guidance.
- Strong written and verbal communication with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Review DoW IT cybersecurity postures and identify risks using structured security frameworks.
- Provide SME for Cross Domain Solutions, including Cloud Enterprise CDS.
- Develop briefs and updates for DoW leadership and governance boards.
- Support DoW CIO for cybersecurity operations, RMF, and system accreditation.
- Lead cloud compliance reviews and risk assessments for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
