Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Washington state seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to lead DoD cybersecurity activities across programs and to protect mission-critical systems. This contingent hire role focuses on RMF implementation, system authorization, and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities include leading cybersecurity teams, coordinating with government customers and engineering, and ensuring compliance with DoD directives and NIST standards; DoD 8570 IAM III certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Minimum 10 years of information security experience in DoD/government cybersecurity.
• Minimum 5 years leading cybersecurity teams for enterprise IT environments.
• Minimum 10 years implementing RMF.
• Experience performing DoD system authorization, accreditation, and security assessments.
• Experience with eMASS, HBSS, and ACAS credentials.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level III certification.
• Current Windows and Linux administration certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity personnel for enterprise IT and mission-critical systems.
• Direct RMF implementation and authorization activities.
• Oversee security assessments and continuous monitoring.
• Manage vulnerability assessments with eMASS, HBSS, ACAS.
• Ensure compliance with DoD directives and NIST standards.
• Coordinate with Government customers and engineering teams.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to staff.
