Berkeley Research Group, LLC (BRG) is seeking an experienced Senior Managing Consultant to lead cybersecurity and AI risk engagements remotely in the USA. The role focuses on driving client impact, delivering multi-disciplinary programs, and mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years in cybersecurity/technology risk, strong executive communication, and experience shaping governance frameworks across industries.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, or enterprise risk consulting.
• Experience leading consulting engagements or complex cybersecurity/risk programs.
• Understanding of AI governance, risk and control requirements; AI governance frameworks preferred (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001).
• Experience managing client relationships and communicating with senior executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex technical and risk findings into clear executive-level insights and board-ready recommendations.
• Build and deepen client relationships through credibility and strategic thinking.
• Originate opportunities, contribute to proposals and pursuit activity, and develop SOWs; support revenue growth.
• Scope and shape new cybersecurity, technology risk and AI risk engagements with BRG leaders.
• Mentor consulting staff and contribute to coaching and team development.
• Develop repeatable client offerings, methodologies, accelerators, and IP for delivery and business development.
