Job summary

Berkeley Research Group, LLC (BRG) is seeking an experienced Consultant - Cybersecurity to join our remote USA practice. You will lead workstreams, shape engagements, and deliver actionable cyber risk insights to senior client stakeholders across industries.

You’ll translate complex technical findings into business terms, mentor junior staff, and help grow BRG’s cybersecurity and AI risk capabilities while driving client impact and practice development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, or enterprise risk consulting
Experience with emerging AI governance risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) is preferred

Responsibilities

Lead workstreams and engagements across cybersecurity and AI risk.
Translate complex technical findings into executive-level insights, business implications, and board-ready recommendations.
Build and deepen client relationships through technical credibility and strategic thinking.
Identify follow-on opportunities, contribute to proposals and pursuit activity, and support growth of client accounts.
Scope and shape new cybersecurity and AI risk engagements in collaboration with senior staff and BRG leaders.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to coaching and team development.
Develop methodologies, intellectual property, and market-facing thought leadership collateral
