Job summary

FIS Management Services, LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst - Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH) to drive proactive threat hunts across endpoints, network, identity, and cloud telemetry to uncover adversary activity and reduce dwell time.

You will implement complex investigations using EDR and SIEM platforms, translate threat intelligence into detections, and mentor teams while automating workflows with PowerShell, Python, and Bash.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security or a related role.
• Experience performing threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Experience investigating endpoint threats with EDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon).
• Ability to develop and tune detections using SIEM platforms (Splunk, Azure Sentinel, QRadar).
• Ability to map adversary TTPs to MITRE ATT&CK and apply threat intelligence; scripting for automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat hunts across endpoints, network, identity, and cloud telemetry.
• Document hunt outcomes and investigative conclusions clearly.
• Collaborate with SOC, Pen Testing, and Detection Engineering to operationalize hunts into detections and playbooks.
• Automate hunting workflows using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Lead hunts in newly acquired or integrating environments, establishing baselines and risk assessments.
