Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions in the U.S. is seeking a Claims Consultant for Cyber & Technology E&O to independently manage complex, high-exposure claims with strong technical expertise in cyber liability and coverage analysis.

The role requires 7+ years in specialized claims handling, excellent communication, and the ability to guide defense and coverage strategies under limited supervision. Hybrid schedule across multiple U.S. offices is available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of specialized claims handling experience, including significant Cyber and/or Technology E&O experience.
• Strong specialty coverage analysis and litigation management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage sophisticated, high-exposure matters with limited oversight.

Responsabilités

• Independently investigate, evaluate, reserve, and resolve complex, high-exposure claims from notice through resolution.
• Analyze specialty policies and develop clear, well-supported coverage positions and correspondence.
• Develop claim, coverage, and litigation strategies and direct defense counsel, coverage counsel, experts, consultants, and other vendors.
• Evaluate liability, damages, causation, coverage, and settlement opportunities, and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials as appropriate.
• Prepare large-loss reports, claim summaries, and reserve recommendations, and present significant matters to leadership.
• Partner with underwriting, legal, actuarial, brokers, insureds, and other stakeholders, while providing technical guidance to less experienced claims professionals.
