Job summary
Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Sr. Cyber Systems Engineer for the Sentinel program in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will lead cybersecurity systems engineering efforts across complex systems, ensuring cyber survivability and compliance with DoD standards.
The role requires leadership capability, strong communication, and experience in Agile/DevSecOps within a cybersecurity context. On-site work location with opportunities to influence program direction.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of SSE practices and DoD SDLC.
- Experience leading systems engineering teams with schedule, cost and scope responsibilities.
- DoD security standards and guidance knowledge (CNSSI 1253, DoD 8140/8570, DoD 8510).
Responsibilities
- Lead cyber systems engineering teams to deliver Sentinel requirements and ensure cyber survivability.
- Collaborate with leadership to meet program objectives and requirements.
- Guide a team of NGMS Cybersecurity Systems Engineers in system development and enhancement.
- Ensure contractors meet cybersecurity standards and guidance.
- Document and improve engineering processes and procedures.
- Lead cybersecurity assessment and testing activities and report progress.
