Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Azusa, CA is seeking a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to work on-site with our Space Systems team. You will perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and risk analyses across the full lifecycle, translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications while aligning with schedule and cost targets.

The role requires Level 3 or Level 4 experience (5+ to 8+ years), DoD clearance eligibility, and ability to obtain CISSP within 6 months.

Qualifications

• DoD secret clearance or higher required.
• BS in STEM with 5+ years of experience (MS 3 yrs; PhD 1 yr) or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain CISSP within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform system planning, integration, verification, and risk analyses across the full lifecycle.
• Develop and update PPPs/ATPs per DoDI 5200.39/5000.02 and AFPAM 63-113.
• Lead RMF control implementation and SSG/SSWG coordination; assess vulnerabilities and risks.
