Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Azusa, CA is seeking a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 4) to join our team on-site at our Azusa campus.

The role performs technical planning, system integration and verification across the full lifecycle, translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications while adhering to schedule, cost, and risk constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 5+ years of related technical experience, OR Master’s with 3+ years, OR PhD with 1+ year.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Ability to obtain a CISSP within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation for total systems.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware/software specifications under cost/schedule constraints.
• Lead program-level risk assessments and documentation in DoD cyber environments.
• Ensure compliance with DoD RMF controls and ASD STIGs across software and hardware.
