Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer with a cyber background to support the Ground System program. The role focuses on cybersecurity work streams, collaborating with senior leaders, and ensuring secure design and validation across software and hardware components.

The candidate will translate customer requirements into actionable security solutions, develop artifacts, and present concise status updates to program leadership within a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Experience using DOORS to navigate requirements and traceability.
• Experience developing requirements objects and VCRM fields.
• Experience reviewing software and system logs for security and performance insights.
• Experience evaluating and applying NIST RMF controls in systems.
• Ability to present to a technical stakeholder audience.
• CISSP, Sec+ or other certifications are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate design, implementation, verification, and documentation of security controls (NIST RMF 800-53) and ASD STIGs across software and hardware.
• Assess control applicability and identify gaps; drive resolution with senior leaders and customers.
• Collaborate with development, test, and integration teams to validate cyber requirements and remediation.
• Embed DevSecOps and secure CI/CD practices in pipelines; oversee secure integration of COTS/FOSS.
• Produce security artifacts on accelerated schedules and brief leadership on status.
• Hit ground running in a mission-critical, time-sensitive environment while upholding high security standards.
