Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer in the United States (Virginia) to work on cutting-edge cyber development for national defense programs. The role involves designing and building software for security tools, OS-level projects, and customer-driven capabilities.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required and active TS/SCI is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree; additional experience may suffice in lieu of degree.
Minimum 8+ years Software Engineering experience.
Experience with cyber tool development and C/C++ proficiency.
Python proficiency and familiarity with Git.

Responsibilities

Design and develop software for cyber tools, security, research, and product development.
Develop and maintain low-level applications and OS projects for protection tools.
Review architecture, select tools, test and debug software.
Provide customers expertise to leverage existing software and create new capabilities.
Collaborate in Agile teams and mentor teammates.
