Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Windows Software Engineer to join our Federal Solutions team. You will develop security-focused software for national defense projects, work with remote teams, and travel quarterly as needed. Candidates must have a strong Windows background and C/C++ expertise, plus US Citizenship with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• C/C++ proficiency.
• 5+ years strong Windows foundation/knowledge.
• Experience with CNO Windows development (tools/implant or exploit).
• Experience with Windows VR/RE.
• Experience with Windows APIs (Win32, Windows Native).
• Experience with networking protocol analysis and socket programming on Windows.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Ability to generate accurate documentation.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a remote team.
• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for tools in computer security, vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and product development.
• Develop and maintain low-level OS projects related to software protection and host-based security tools.
• Review system architecture and select appropriate development and support tools for performance; test and debug related software.
• Provide customers expertise to leverage existing software and create new capabilities.
• Be involved in quick reaction development with opportunities for customer interaction.
• Collaborate with a team focused on developing superior products and career growth.
• Be a customer-focused self-starter, eager to learn as well as mentor in Agile teams.
