Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in Building Intelligence®, seeks a Cyber Security Specialist 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems group in Tysons and supporting Virginia locations.

You will architect, deploy, and secure cyber-physical systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth sectors. You will design secure architectures, implement STIGs, manage RMF artifacts, and guide junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber-security system engineering and RMF/DIACAP methodologies.
• Clearance requirements including ACTIVE TS/SCI w/ POLY.
• Experience with system hardening and STIGs across Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform system builds for Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms.
• Install/configure applications (IIS, SQL Server) and network devices.
• Develop automation via PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Support secure Azure and AWS deployments with security controls.
• Produce RMF documentation and technical security reports.
• Mentor junior cybersecurity personnel.
