Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a Cyber Security Specialist 4 in Virginia to design, implement, and maintain cyber-secure IT and OT environments for federal, local, and commercial clients. You will manage intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and secure IT systems.

The role requires active TS/SCI with poly, strong system administration, and experience with STIGs and RMF; on-site support at customer facilities is common, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for U.S. government security access; ACTIVE TS/SCI w/ POLY required.
• Experience installing/configuring Windows Server, RHEL and virtualization platforms.
• Strong knowledge of STIGs, cyber risk assessment, and RMF processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform system builds across Windows, RHEL, and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Azure Local).
• Install and configure IIS and SQL Server, network devices, and security infrastructure.
• Develop playbooks with Ansible/Terraform and write PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Support cyber compliance, STIGs, and RMF documentation; mentor junior staff.
