Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Manager, Cyber Security in its Information Security Office to lead governance, risk reduction, and capability maturation across the business.

You will act as a central security partner to lines of business, coordinate proactive consulting, and drive security left in development. The role requires extensive cloud, data, network, and risk program experience with strong leadership and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Extensive cybersecurity experience across governance, risk, architecture, and cloud.
• Proven ability to communicate security metrics to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as central point of contact for line of business to Information Security and Risk Management.
• Coordinate proactive Information Security consulting across Infrastructure Security, Resiliency, Data Security, Network Architecture and User Access Management.
• Serve as expert in Capital One’s Information Security capabilities, policies, procedures and standards.
• Influence customers to shift security left in development processes.
• Escalate and manage cyber security risk.
• Provide ad hoc support on security topics for the business.
• Provide regular updates to executive leadership on Information Security health and risk environment.
• Work with business leadership to anticipate objectives and needs.
