Job summary

VERSANT Media seeks a Senior Investigator to lead and support investigations into cyber incidents, insider risk, data loss, and other sensitive security matters. The role involves triaging alerts, collecting evidence, correlating indicators, and documenting findings for leadership and stakeholders.

You will use SIEM, SOAR, EDR, DLP, and related tools, coordinating with Legal, HR, Compliance, IT, and business teams to ensure risk-based remediation and clear communication of findings.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident response, security operations, or cyber investigations.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and case management.
• Ability to brief leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
• Background in security program management or related fields.
• Strong written documentation and discretion; bilingual ability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support investigations involving cyber incidents and insider-risk alerts.
• Triage alerts, scope activity, identify affected users and data.
• Prepare executive-ready updates for Cyber Security leadership and stakeholders.
• Apply incident response methodology to contain or remediate incidents.
• Translate findings into business risk language for non-technical audiences.
• Maintain case documentation and preserve evidence integrity.
