Job summary

Versant, a media and entertainment company, is seeking a Senior Investigator to lead investigations of cyber incidents, insider risk, data misuse, and sensitive security matters across the organization. The role requires triage, evidence preservation, and coordinating with Cyber Security, Legal, HR, and Compliance.

You will apply incident response methods, correlate evidence from endpoints, networks, and cloud, and prepare clear findings for executives.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident response and security operations.
• Proven cyber investigations and insider-risk experience.
• Familiar with threat intelligence and sensitive security matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support investigations involving cyber incidents and insider-risk alerts.
• Triage alerts and scope activity to determine priority.
• Prepare executive-ready summaries for Cyber Security leadership, Legal, HR, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Apply incident response methodology to assess activity and containment or remediation actions.
• Correlate endpoint, network, identity, cloud, email, and user-behavior evidence to distinguish benign activity from policy violations or compromise.
• Maintain complete case documentation from intake through closure, including evidence sources and timeline.
• Coordinate escalation and mitigation steps with owners and cross-functional teams.
• Translate technical findings into clear business risk language for non-technical stakeholders.
