Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience as Network Security Engineer or Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineer with network policy deployment.
• Strong knowledge of network communications, traffic analysis, stateful firewall concepts, ports, protocols, DNS, Windows and Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze application and infrastructure traffic to determine communication flow from source to destination.
• Design, document, and implement micro-segmentation policies per standards.
• Develop enforcement rules based on ports, protocols, DNS, and network dependencies.
• Collaborate with owners, infrastructure, and security teams to meet communication requirements.
• Support migration activities, remediating legacy or overly permissive firewall rules.
• Participate in planning, testing, and change management execution.
