Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead advanced cybersecurity initiatives and safeguard enterprise systems, ensuring compliance with federal and DoD standards in Chantilly, VA.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design, implement and maintain robust security architectures while managing technical operations in a fast-paced environment. Strong RMF experience and DoD policy knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Active IAT Level II certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating comprehensive project schedules using ESS on Microsoft Project.
• Develop briefing decks with detailed cost estimates for senior leadership.
• Author and organize technical documentation and requirements for clarity and compliance.
• Coordinate engineering, integration, and admin functions to deliver capabilities and services.
• Ensure timely completion of all project aspects per implementation plan.
• Oversee build-out and testing of applications and tools in virtual and physical environments.
• Manage incident and request queues through ServiceNow and provide Tier 2-4 support.
