Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Fort Meade, MD area for a career- and customer-oriented professional who will work onsite.

The role focuses on Cyber Security, software design and DevOps, with responsibilities ranging from vulnerability mitigation to testing and development of secure software systems.

Active TS/SCI clearance is required, and collaboration with government leadership will define priorities and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in C, C#, C++, SQL, or Java; Jira, Confluence, Ghidra and Git.
• Linux development environment experience with Python and C.
• Knowledge of vulnerability research and reverse engineering for cyber defense.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement, and manage safeguards against cyberattacks on the system.
• Penetration testing with testers to identify security vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Develop secure software and DevOps pipelines; improve software delivery processes.
• Engage with Government leaders to align capabilities, priorities, and roadmaps.
