We are seeking a motivated, career-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading technical operations, executing advanced cybersecurity engineering solutions, and safeguarding critical enterprise systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and manage security measures that protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our clients' systems, supporting their mission-critical operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with over four years of relevant work experience. A minimum of five years of cybersecurity experience, including direct involvement with Risk Management Framework (RMF), is required. Leadership experience managing or supporting small to medium-sized teams in engineering operations is highly desirable. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office products is essential. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of DoD/IC policies and technical security guidance applicable to information systems. An active IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) is mandatory, or the candidate must be able to obtain it within six months of employment.
