Job summary

MANTECH in the Fort Meade, MD area seeks a motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong cyber security and software development skills. This onsite role involves designing, testing, and managing safeguards against cyber threats while collaborating with penetration testers to identify vulnerabilities.

You will contribute to DevOps pipelines, agile processes, and security-focused architectures, engaging with leadership to define priorities and roadmaps for mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification with 9+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, SQL) and scripting in Python.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Ghidra and Git in secure development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement and manage safeguards against cyberattacks for the system.
• Collaborate with penetration testers to perform tests and identify security vulnerabilities.
• Develop organization-wide security measures and report system status to leaders.
• Design and improve software delivery processes, including DevOps pipelines, and support architecture decisions.
