Job summary

Honeywell seeks a Principal Cyber Security Architect/Engineer to lead design and implementation of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. You will be hands-on building defenses and acting as SME for complex challenges, reporting to the Director of Cyber Security.

Hybrid work setup with initial 90 days onsite in M-F coordination. Responsibilities span security architectures across cloud and data centers, data protection, AI security, and incident response leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a cyber-focused role across single or multi-domain environments.
• In-depth knowledge of security architectures across major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Experience with security frameworks and standards such as NIST/ISO 27001/ISO 62443/AI RMF, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Knowledge of data protection techniques including encryption, tokenization, and DLP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of security reference architectures for Hybrid Cloud, Private Cloud, SaaS, and Enterprise environments with Zero Trust and IAM.
• Develop enforceable security strategies for Data Centers, Virtualization, and AI technologies.
• Provide architectural leadership for endpoint security and SaaS integrations.
• Establish and enforce security architecture standards, frameworks and best practices.
• Engage with external partners to evaluate security tech integrations (not hand-on).
• Provide guidance on security best practices and emerging threats while pursuing continuous improvements.
• Support security assessments and risk management across the enterprise.
• Support Physical Security during M&A activities for secure integrations.
• Mentor security and IT architects across teams.
