Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Senior Associate in Global Cyber Risk Services to assess, measure, and reduce cyber risk for diverse clients. You will partner with CISOs and executives to translate complex security and regulatory needs into actionable roadmaps and deliver high-quality client deliverables.

You will help develop future-state roadmaps, support third-party risk reviews, cloud configuration assessments, and AI governance considerations while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Security and Risk Analysis, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of two years of consulting experience (Big Four or equivalent)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Ability to travel and work weekends/off hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute cybersecurity program assessments against NIST CSF 2.0, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST SP 800-53, and CIS Controls.
• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with CISOs, IT, risk, legal, and business leaders.
• Support regulatory compliance and remediation efforts (NYDFS Part 500, HIPAA, GLBA, PCI DSS).
• Develop and refine security and privacy policies, standards, governance models, and risk processes.
• Support cyber risk quantification, risk register development, and risk-based prioritization.
