Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Senior Associate in Global Cyber Risk Services to lead incident response and forensic engagements for multiple clients. You will balance hands-on investigation with direct client interaction, helping contain attacks, determine root causes, and recover operations in dynamic environments.

We value a rigorous, evidence-based approach, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to work weekends or off-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Digital Forensics, or related field.
• 3–6 years of incident response or digital forensics experience is preferred.
• Hands-on host-based forensics on Windows, Linux, or macOS and proficiency with common tooling.

Responsibilities

• Perform post-breach incident response and digital forensics investigations.
• Support containment, eradication, and recovery activities with client teams.
• Investigate ransomware, BEC, cloud account compromise, and other incidents.
• Prepare clear written reports, timelines, and executive briefings.
• Contribute to playbooks, tooling, and methodologies; mentor junior staff.
