Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead advisory, governance, and security assessment engagements for national and international technology clients in New York. You will drive Zero Trust architectures, IAM controls, and regulatory alignment across complex systems.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, prepare technical reports for senior counsel, and guide remediation efforts while supporting a dynamic, meritocratic culture at A&M.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in tech firms delivering controlled technologies nationally and internationally.
• Experience with NIST CSF, SP 800-53, SP 800-171, SP 800-218, SP 800-161 and ISO 27001.
• Cybersecurity governance experience with NIST CSF; 800-171 and 53; CISSP/CISA/CISM/ISO 27001 familiarity.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java).
• Background in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and containerization technologies.

Responsabilités

• Lead cross-functional advisory, oversight, and audit projects related to national security reviews, export controls, and CMMC.
• Design and implement Zero Trust architectures and IAM solutions with PAM, RBAC, and continuous authentication.
• Conduct enterprise security assessments focusing on identity governance and access control maturity.
• Direct security app assessments, code reviews, penetration testing, and detailed reporting for senior counsel and executives.
• Develop remediation roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement SIEM, IGA, and PAM to enable automated compliance monitoring and security oversight.
• Create and maintain project governance artifacts and reporting mechanisms.
• Travel up to 20% to client sites and security assessment locations.
