Job summary

Lafayette Group seeks a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to support the Cybersecurity Division (CSD) within CISA, advancing policies and initiatives to strengthen the Nation's cybersecurity resilience. The Senior Associate will analyze federal policies, draft briefing materials, and coordinate with stakeholders across government.

A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of federal policy experience are required; DHS CISA EOD is a future requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in public policy, political science, cybersecurity, homeland security, or related field.
• 3+ years of federal policy, program analysis, strategy, or management consulting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive-level products.

Responsibilities

• Support development, coordination, review, and implementation of cybersecurity policies and initiatives.
• Research federal cybersecurity policies, EO, legislation, and guidance to inform leadership recommendations.
• Draft policy papers, briefing materials, and executive correspondence for senior leadership.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop consensus on policy positions.
• Track policy actions, governance processes, and related meetings.
• Provide analytical support to assess impact of policy issues and priorities.
• Perform project management tasks: timelines, action items, and documentation.
• Support development of high-quality written work: strategic plans, reports, presentations, fact sheets, white papers.
• Assist with client/stakeholder engagement: meetings, data gathering, and developing recommendations.
