Job summary

The Lafayette Group Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Consultant - Senior Associate to work with federal government organizations on national cybersecurity programs.

You will collaborate with clients to plan, defend, and respond to cyber threats, delivering analyses, briefings, and trainings. The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 3+ years in cyber incident response or cyber defense, with strong communication skills and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience with cyber incident response, cybersecurity and/or cyber defense.
• Excellent oral and written communication; diplomacy and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on a cross-functional team of Consultants, Managers, and Subject Matter Experts to help clients solve nationally significant cybersecurity challenges.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; design solutions that meet client needs while addressing stakeholder concerns.
• Coordinate crisis response plans, policies, and procedures; lead meetings with partners and develop recommendations for plans and reports.
• Analyze operational information and perform qualitative and quantitative research to identify trends from data sets; support client needs.
