Job summary

EY is seeking a highly motivated information security specialist to lead the implementation of security solutions for clients and support their data protection needs. You will work with an internationally connected team of specialists and contribute to business resilience across data lifecycle.

The Senior Consultant on the DPP team will define requirements, develop data security strategies, and implement encryption, PKI, and governance programs for various clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Approximately 3-5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into clients' infrastructure and applications.
• Knowledge of encryption, data disposition, data classification, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures, and governance.
• Basic understanding of how to protect client’s data throughout the data lifecycle and effectively dispose of data using techniques like tokenization, encryption, anonymization, and deletion.
• Technical architecture experience integrating data encryption and security tools into clients' infrastructure; network architecture design, implementation, and administration.
• Understanding of data governance and data lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of data management pertaining to Data Privacy, Protection and Lifecycle.
• Understanding of data discovery tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, BigID, Microsoft).

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement teams and deliver professional services.
• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions and develop data security policies.
• Develop data security strategies and governance across data lifecycle.
• Implement and advise on multiple data security products and solutions.
• Include encryption strategy, PKI, and data governance roadmap in engagements.
