Job summary

EY is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant on the Data Protection & Privacy team to lead client engagements, define data security requirements, and drive program governance across diverse client portfolios.

You will work with top-tier teams to implement encryption strategies, PKI, data governance, and data lifecycle protections, ensuring robust security postures and resilience for clients globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4–6 years of related work experience.
• 3–5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software.
• Knowledge of encryption, data disposition, data classification, security policy creation, governance.
• Understanding of data lifecycle and governance.
• Experience with data discovery tools (Collibra, Informatica, BigID, Microsoft).

Responsibilities

• Manage client engagement teams and deliver data security solutions for diverse clients.
• Develop and implement data security programs and governance.
• Define encryption strategy and program governance for client data.
• Advise on data security products and technologies across engagements.
• Assist clients in protecting critical data throughout its lifecycle.
