Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in its DPP team to lead data security initiatives for client engagements. You will define requirements, develop governance programs, and guide encryption and data lifecycle strategies across projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to protect critical data.

You will mentor teams, drive technical architecture decisions, and help clients implement robust data protection solutions while traveling up to 40-60% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 4-6 years of related work experience.
• Graduate degree and approximately 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Approximately 3-5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into clients' infrastructure and applications.
• Knowledge of encryption, data classification, security policy creation, governance and enterprise security strategies.
• Understanding of data governance & lifecycle management; experience with data discovery tools such as Collibra, Informatica, BigID.

Responsibilities

• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions.
• Develop data security strategies, processes, and governance programs for client engagements.
• Identify, understand and protect critical data across the data lifecycle.
• Lead implementation of data security products and provide advisory services to clients.
• Oversee encryption, PKI, data governance strategy and program governance.
