Job summary

EY’s Cybersecurity practice seeks a highly motivated Senior Consultant to manage client engagement teams and deliver data security projects. You will define technical requirements for data protection, help develop governance policies, and lead implementation of encryption and data lifecycle controls for diverse clients.

You will work with EY’s Advanced Security Centers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect critical data and ensure business resilience in a flexible, globally

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 4-6 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree and 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Approximately 3-5 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software into clients' infrastructure and applications.
• Knowledge of general security concepts including encryption, data disposition, data classification, policy creation, governance.
• Basic understanding of encryption and key management capabilities.
• Experience protecting data throughout the data lifecycle and disposing of data securely.
• Technical architecture experience integrating data encryption and security tools; network design/implementation.
• Understanding of data governance and data lifecycle management.
• Experience with data privacy, protection and lifecycle management; data discovery tools (Collibra, Informatica, BigID, Microsoft).

Responsibilities

• Manage client engagement teams and deliver professional services for strategic/global priority accounts.
• Define technical and business requirements for data security solutions and develop related processes.
• Develop data security strategies and implement data protection solutions for clients.
• Identify, understand and protect client data across the data lifecycle; govern encryption programs.
• Advise on encryption strategy, program governance and data governance roadmap.
