BECU is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Manager to strengthen governance, risk, and controls across the organization. You will shape GRC strategy, implement continuous monitoring, and partner with enterprise teams to ensure regulatory readiness and effective risk management.

You will lead second‑line oversight, translate standards into practical controls, and drive automation, reporting, and AI‑assisted governance to protect member data and financial assets.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work or education‑related experience. Advanced degree preferred.
• Typically requires 7 years of cybersecurity experience or related experience in IT, Compliance, or Audit.
• Expertise leveraging established GRC frameworks, such as FFIEC guidance, GLBA, PCI/DSS, SOX, NIST CSF.

Responsabilités

• Develop, evolve, and improve GRC programs, processes, standards, and guidelines.
• Provide second‑line oversight of cybersecurity control framework and drive remediation.
• Support regulatory examinations and coordinate responses and evidence.
• Translate frameworks and regulatory expectations into practical standards and operating practices.
• Advance Continuous Control Monitoring with automated monitoring and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work using automation and AI capabilities.
• Build metrics and reporting to provide visibility into control health and progress.
• Influence across cybersecurity, technology, and compliance teams to move initiatives forward.
