Job summary

Crum & Forster is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer/Analyst to join the Threat Detection and Response team in the United States. You will partner with the Managed Services SOC to identify and investigate malicious activity, escalate alerts, and support incident response with a skilled team using Next-Gen security tools.

You will triage alerts, investigate phishing and network threats, coordinate with owners to remediate issues, and develop automation while maintaining playbooks and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cybersecurity, SOC experience preferred.
• Experience in Security Operations Center and engineering roles.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence, vulnerabilities, and phishing investigations.

Responsibilities

• Triage escalated cyber alerts and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Investigate email, host, and network threats and incidents.
• Serve as point of contact for employees reporting cybersecurity concerns.
• Refine detection capabilities and reduce false positives.
• Coordinate remediation with system and app owners.
• Develop and implement security orchestration & automation.
• Publish and update standard operating procedures and playbooks.
