Job summary

CLEAR is seeking a Senior Threat Detection & Response Analyst III to join our SOC team to help strengthen our ability to detect, investigate, and respond to evolving security threats. You’ll lead complex investigations, improve detection capabilities, and mentor analysts while shaping scalable threat detection programs.

You’ll apply MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001 frameworks, tune SIEM/EDR workflows, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years in security operations, threat detection, or incident response.
• Deep knowledge of SIEM/EDR and security monitoring technologies with investigations of complex events.
• Experience applying MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, or ISO 27001 to identify adversary behavior.
• Ability to use data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve workflows and detection.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations across networks, endpoints, data centers, and cloud environments.
• Develop, tune, and optimize threat detection logic across SIEM, EDR, and security platforms.
• Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure to identify root causes and drive remediation.
• Mentor junior analysts and help establish scalable threat detection playbooks and standards.
• Communicate technical findings and risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
