Job summary

Resilience in New York seeks a Claims Specialist to own day-to-day investigation and management of Cyber, Technology Errors & Omissions, and Miscellaneous Professional Lines claims. You will drive investigations, negotiations, and reserves while collaborating with internal security and technology teams.

You will work with underwriters to deliver proactive incident response and preventative services, and manage external providers to reduce losses.

Qualifications

• 5 years of proven experience in claims handling, advocacy, or cyber insurance.
• Ability to evaluate coverage and manage complex cases with clear stakeholder communication.
• Expertise in third-party claims, Technology E&O, and Miscellaneous Professional Lines.
• Established connections within cyber broking, incident response, or cybersecurity sectors.

Responsibilities

• Own a dedicated claims portfolio and conduct investigations.
• Negotiate settlements and apply policy terms to reserve estimates.
• Collaborate with security/tech teams to advise incident response services.
• Manage external service providers during incidents to reduce losses.
• Provide data/analytics feedback to Underwriting to refine risk selection.
