Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the CVOR Operating Room in Casper, WY. The role involves scrubbing and circulating in a busy CVOR with robotic and bariatric programs, and requires proficiency in at least two surgical specialties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified surgical technologist or 2–3 years of surgical technologist experience.
• Registration with State Regulatory Agency if applicable.
• Must scrub proficiently on at least two surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for procedures by pulling instruments and ensuring proper working order.
• Anticipates surgeon's needs and passes instruments; assists with exposure.
• Maintains aseptic technique and counts sharps/instruments; disposes of waste.
