Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior CVN Nuclear Propulsion Specialist to support the CNAL Future Readiness Office and propulsion plant modernization aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers. Location is Norfolk, VA, with a contingent role and travel.

Qualified candidates will have extensive Naval Nuclear Propulsion and SCD experience, a current active clearance, and strong communication skills to coordinate with naval commands, shipyards, and modernization programs.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance is required.
• HS Diploma required.
• Minimum of 15 years’ Naval Nuclear Propulsion experience onboard aircraft carriers with 3M Supervisor qualification or higher.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience using Navy Data Environment (NDE) for SCD.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience reviewing/creating propulsion/HM&E SCDs.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience developing carrier design and modernization plans for propulsion systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to CVN modernization and propulsion plant issues.
• Attend relevant meetings on CVN maintenance and propulsion modernization.
• Assist in development of aircraft carrier design and modernization plans related to propulsion.
• Provide assessments of propulsion plant SCDs and fielding plans.
• Bid and proposal support as needed.
