Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. in Norfolk, VA seeks a CVN Modernization Planner to support CNAL Future Readiness efforts.

You will serve as Modernization Manager for In-Service, RCOH, and New Construction Carriers, coordinating with Navy stakeholders and maintaining SCDs, CRM, and related modernization artifacts. The role requires a secret clearance, six-plus years in Navy data environments and modernization planning, and travel about 25%.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance required.
• HS diploma required.
• Six+ years’ experience accessing Navy Data Environment (NDE) for Ship Change Documents (SCD).
• Six+ years’ experience organizing large volumes of information (Excel, Access, etc.) in Navy modernization/maintenance efforts.
• Six+ years’ experience with CBAs, SCDs, MRAs, NDE‑NM, NDE‑EP Fielding Plan, CRM and briefing senior naval officers/civilians.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to travel ~25%.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to resolve difficulties in SCD processing.
• Assist in reconciliation of TYCOM funding between CRM & NDE Mod Plan.
• Update and maintain the CRM.
• Maintain SCD development master.
• Provide SCD development team guidance.
• Review current availability MRAs and TYCOM SCDs/alterations requiring changes.
• Provide list of requested programming/status changes to Modernization Coordinator.
• Attend meetings between various Navy modernization stakeholders and relay decisions.
• Review and update the TAT review priority list.
• Assist in the 0-6 Board Voting Planner for CVN SCDs.
• Maintain list of CVN SCDs to be voted on.
• Coordinate with Modernization Manager to align with CRM and Fielding plans.
• Bid and proposal support if requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
