INDUS is seeking a Senior CVN C5I Modernization Specialist to support CNAL Future Readiness at Norfolk, VA. This contingent role involves contributing to HAB/EQOL/ALRE/Aviation Fuels/HM&E modernization aboard U.S. Navy carriers and coordinating with naval and shipyard partners.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in related naval environments, secure clearance, and strong MS Office skills. Travel ~25% and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance is required to be considered.
• HS Diploma required.
• 10+ years’ direct experience with HAB/EQOL/ALRE/Aviation Fuels/HM&E on aircraft carriers or in modernization efforts.
• 10+ years’ experience accessing Navy Data Environment (NDE) for Ship Change Documents (SCD).
• 10+ years’ experience reviewing, editing, and/or creating HAB/EQOL/ALRE/Aviation Fuels/HM&E SCDs.
• 10+ years’ experience developing aircraft carrier design and modernization plans for HAB/EQOL/ALRE/Aviation Fuels/HM&E systems.
• Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills and time management.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Travel ~25% required.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Modernization Engineer on HM&E and related modernization issues.
• Assist in developing aircraft carrier design and modernization plans for HM&E systems.
• Assess HM&E SCDs for technical merit and ship integration issues.
• Assess fielding plans and CBA for HM&E SCDs.
• Coordinate with COMNAVAIRLANT and other stakeholders to address modernization requirements.
• Attend meetings to develop future readiness and modernization requirements.
• Provide fleet perspectives to HM&E aspects of future carrier design and RCOH.
• Coordinate with N82 for ALRE and aviation fuels modernization requirements.
• Bid and proposal support if requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
