Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a dynamic Project Manager to lead engineering services for U.S. Navy Carrier overhaul and repair programs within the Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation (NASO).

The role requires active DoD clearance and experience guiding HM&E and aviation systems on surface ships, coordinating with Ship's Force and Navy stakeholders. Travel may be required to CONUS/OCONUS sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with seven years' related engineering management experience, or an Associate's Degree with fourteen years' experience.
• Active DoD security clearance required.
• Five years' supervisory experience in maintenance or design for Navy carriers or surface ships.
• Three years' hands-on maintenance/design experience with main propulsion, electrical, and damage control systems.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance to Ship's Force on HM&E and aviation systems interfacing with combat and hull systems.
• Oversee inspections, analyses, and repairs related to naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Coordinate with ship's reactor department before inspections, testing, and production work.
• Develop and supervise fault identification and repair for propulsion and related systems.
• Provide technical support and training to Ship's Force on operation, overhaul, and repair tasks.
