CEVA Logistics is seeking an experienced Entry Writer Import Specialist III for our Portland, OR team. You will manage complex import operations, ensure customs compliance, and optimize documentation workflows, including ISF filings and bills of lading.

You will coordinate with brokers, forwarders, and regulators, monitor tariff classifications, and lead junior staff in customs procedures. This role offers growth in a global logistics environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED with related field experience.
• 5–7+ years in import/export operations focusing on customs compliance.
• Strong knowledge of US Customs regulations, HTS codes, and global trade compliance.
• Experience with regulatory coordination and paperwork such as ISF filings, Bills of Lading, Invoices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Oversee all aspects of import operations including customs clearance and compliance.
• Prepare, review, and submit documentation (Bills of Lading, Invoices, COOs, ISF).
• Coordinate with brokers, forwarders, carriers, and agencies to resolve issues.
• Monitor tariff classifications, duties, and apply FTAs to minimize costs.
• Maintain audit-ready records and manage compliance programs (CTPAT).
• Analyze data and report for internal audits and regulatory reviews.
• Train junior staff on customs procedures and compliance requirements.
• Stay updated on global trade changes and suggest process improvements.
