Qualifications

• Must have sound knowledge of US Customs and Harmonized Tariff Codes.
• 4+ years of experience as an entry writer or in customs brokerage operation.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPS for each customer on the correct method and data required for preparing an entry.
• Interface with customers on CBP, PGA, delivery, and irregularities.
• Assist in resolving major customer complaints and shipping problems.

Skills

High School Diploma or GED

4+ years of experience as an entry writer or in customs brokerage operation

Knowledge of US Customs and Harmonized Tariff Codes

IATA Dangerous Goods Certificate
