Job summary

FedEx Logistics provides freight forwarding, as well as import/export services to reach markets worldwide, including ocean/air freight, customs brokerage, and trade advisory services. The role supports timely release and movement of freight with a focus on exceptional customer service.

The position requires HS Diploma or GED and about 2 years of brokerage/transportation or customer service experience, plus proficiency in MS Office and HTS classification.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 24 months of brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook; familiarity with office equipment (phone, fax, copier, printer, scanner).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of HTS classification and U.S. Customs regulations and related federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Prepare and submit documentation to U.S. Customs, agents, and clients.
• Identify and resolve issues delaying freight movement.
• Maintain relationships with brokers and service providers.
• Resolve billing issues and manage post-entry activities.
• Perform data entry and route cause analysis as needed.
• Communicate with clients via written, phone or email.
• Produce operational trend reports and share with partners.
