Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a strong customer service professional to support freight forwarding and customs documentation. You will ensure timely release or movement of freight, handle inquiries, and maintain relationships with brokers and internal teams.

A hybrid schedule is offered with a pay-providing benefits package. Ideal candidates have 6 months of brokerage or transportation experience or customer service background, proficiency in MS Office, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
• MS Office, Outlook, and basic office equipment required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with high-quality service and timely resolution to ensure on-time release or movement of freight.
• Prepare, analyze, and/or submit documentation to customs, agents, clients to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintain relationships with brokers and service providers to exceed customer service requirements.
• Resolve billing issues and pursue delinquent payments as needed.
• Enter and correct data in computer systems and run operational trend reports.
• Coordinate post-entry activities and entry verification processes on behalf of customers.
