Expeditors in Colorado seeks a Senior Customs Operations Supervisor to oversee customs activities and staff development. You will mentor your No.2, allocate workloads, and ensure training targets are met while maintaining compliance with OPS and government regulations.

You will collaborate with management to review goals, supervise daily tasks, and drive process improvements within the department. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and a solid customs background.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of customs broker experience, including 1-2 years in a management role.
• Demonstrated supervisory ability.
• Good market and product knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Identify with manager, develop and mentor your No. 2.
• Allocate workloads within team to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure staff meet training targets (52 hours/year).
• Ensure new hires complete mandatory training within 6 months.
• Monitor compliance with OPS and government regulations.
• Lead staff appraisals and ensure clear job descriptions.
