Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Senior Customs Brokerage Agent to lead a portfolio of import accounts, ensuring compliance, onboarding new clients, and serving as the primary liaison with U.S. Customs and PGAs. The role emphasizes mentoring team members and driving process improvements.

Ideal candidates have at least five years in brokerage, strong communication skills, and hold or pursue the U.S. Customs Broker license with related certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible brokerage experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Current U.S. Customs Broker License and related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of import brokerage accounts with varying complexity.
• Serve as primary contact for brokerage operations, compliance and service issues.
• Onboard and implement new brokerage accounts.
• Liaise with U.S. Customs and PGAs on examinations, holds and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor Customer Service Representatives on brokerage processes and compliance.
