Job summary

Outpost is hiring for a Gate Automation role based in Austin, TX. You will own the lifecycle of client accounts from discovery through go-live, hypercare, and steady-state management, ensuring operational excellence and customer outcomes.

Responsible for translating customer friction into product requirements, driving expansions, and maintaining strong relationships with field ops, onboarding, and sales teams. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer success, implementation, or operations leadership with outcome ownership.
• Experience in logistics, trucking, warehousing, or 3PL; able to discuss with operations leaders.
• Ability to produce structured discovery artifacts that endure engineering review.
• Comfort saying no to requests that would compromise launch or configuration.
• Fluent with operational data; can read dashboards and form hypotheses.
• Willingness to travel 30-40% to on-site sites.

Responsibilities

• Own the go-live window and hypercare cadence with Remote Operations and Engineering.
• Maintain ongoing customer relationships and monitor SLA performance.
• Translate recurring friction into product requirements for the OGA roadmap.
• Identify expansion opportunities within the installed base and coordinate with Sales.
